On Thursday, April 12, 2012, The NYSPCC hosted its Inaugural Spring Luncheon at The Pierre Hotel. This memorable afternoon, Chaired by Elizabeth Mayhew, featured a keynote speech from Sapphire, author of the novel Push, which inspired the Academy Award®-winning movie Precious. Thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon a great success raising essential funds for the agency's Trauma Recovery Program.
